'Tis The Season 2010

Wow! Can you believe 2010 is almost over?! How crazy is that! I remember Y2K like it was just yesterday! Anyway, life is going good out this way ... We finally moved into our new house and things are slowly getting settled into a routine. Besides finals, teething babies, terrible two's and my hubby gone all the time ... a routine is slowly being worked out! Denver in a week ... for about 5 days and we couldn't be more excited! It's always nice to be around family for the holidays, it makes it that much more special! Though, we do get to have Christmas morning, here in our house, which I couldn't be more excited for!!! It's our first Christmas as a complete Chisholm family!

Chisholm Babies Are Growing Up....

So, today my baby girl turned 4 months and my baby boy is headed to the 2 year old room at daycare. Where in the world did the time go?! Can I have a pause button, please!

What is Running?!

So, after finishing up my Economics homework, (which I might add, is the most awful and boring class I've ever had to listen too) Henry and I decided that it'd be a great idea to take a quick jog around our neighborhood. Great idea until a few blocks into it when I realized running in humidity is WAY different than what I'm used too (which is hardly any running at all). So, we turned around and came home after about 15 minutes. Not a long start, but it's a start. =)

I mentioned in my earlier post that we were buying a house! I did however, forget to attach a picture ... silly me!

I haven't updated this blog for ages! Sorry!!

Lots have happened since my last post. 5 days after that ... Tinley Monroe Chisholm was born and absolutely perfect in every way. She was 8lbs 10.5oz and 21 1/4" long. She came a few days earlier than planned, but welcomed with open arms! Logan absolutely adores his baby sissy.

Let's see .. We bought a house!!! We decided that this southern living isn't all that bad after all. Life is cheap, Steve has a great job and we found some pretty great friends! School system is wonderful, it's a small town ... Plenty to do, so heck, why not! We're so excited. We're supposed to be closing on the house the middle of November, so I'll keep you updated!

Anyway, I promise it get on here more often ... Life is just so busy sometimes!

My husband loves me. We traded my Mazda3 in on a super AMAZING Nissan Pathfinder. I don't have a good picture of it yet, but I will get one soon. I've wanted one of these for years and I finally got one!!!

Tinley Monroe Chisholm

Okay, so it's been a while since I've updated. I'm noticing that's my trend on here.

The update on our little lady! Dr. Robie checked my cervix on Wednesday and actually felt the shape of her head!! So, she's as far down as she can go and he told me to basically do nothing until Friday, May 28th when he wants to take her out! We are so excited!!

Logan is starting to realized that he has a little sister on the way. He refers to all her stuff as either, "Bebe Si" or "Ni Ni" ... I think he knows someone's name! =) I just love him so much!!

I'll post some pictures of our little princess as soon as she makes her appearance!

Home Sweet Home

As promised, here's a peek at our house here in Oklahoma. It's still a work in progress, but I figure we have plenty of time to work on it! Steve had to leave on Sunday for a few months ... so when he gets back and I'm no longer REALLY pregnant, we'll finish up the yard (so don't pay much attention to that part)!

Easter Mayhem

So, Steve wasn't here this Easter, Boo! He was out on a job ... But, the Easter bunny still stopped by and dropped off a certain something for Logan. He woke up to his table filled with crayola madness ... no one deserved it more. After that we went to McDonald's for lunch and then went to an Easter egg hunt sponsored by the town of Elk City. Lots and lots of kids is an understatement. Yikes! He was in the 1-2 yr old age group and was still only able to get 4 eggs. After he figured out what to do, he absolutely LOVED it!

At the end of the day, we shared some ice cream and watched a little "Mimi" as he would say ... Barney. :o)

It was wonderful.

New Refrigerator!

We finally got our new refrigerator and it's gorgeous (if that's possible). They didn't have it in stock until April, so I have to wait for delivery until April 19th ... but I still LOVE it! (And we got a pretty sweet deal on it too...)

FYI: Refrigerator shopping and toddlers just don't mix. Enough said.
